What you'll be doing
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join us in Despatch on a 2,2,3 shift pattern! As Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the daily running of the Despatch department, ensuring your team is suitably equipped to meet efficiency targets.
- You will manage a team ensuring consistency by monitoring and reviewing volumes and standards
- You will be responsible ensuring daily requirements are suitably covered with correct labour
- Responsibility for stock movements and shipping off site, reconciliation of produced product and pallet
- Daily KPI ownership, managing absence and holiday requests will also sit within your remit
- You will work with the larger Despatch and Operation teams to solve issues with root cause analysis
Shift pattern: 2,2,3 shift pattern 4pm to 4am.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience within distribution or warehousing is essential
- Excellent communication skills – able to speak with both internally and external stakeholders
- A Reach Truck license is desirable but not essential
- You will need to provide leadership and direction to your team, and strive to exceed targets
- Ability to work at pace and with attention to detail
- IOSH qualification would be advantageous
