What you'll be doing
Area Coordinator / Line Coordinator
Based in Boston
Shift available: continental shift, either 4am - 4pm or 5am - 5pm (depending on availability)
Rate: £11.86/hr - £14.83 (OT rate)
Paid Weekly (Thursday)

What we’re looking for
Due to development and growth, Greencore Boston are looking to recruit Coordinators in our Production department on night shift. If successful you would be streamlined into one of the following areas: Prep, Mixing, Assembly or Packing. However, you may be asked to work in additional areas to suit the needs of the business.
As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring any relevant CCP’s/Allergen Controls are adhered to.
- Assisting in the active promotion of a safety culture and ensuring all health and safety requirements are met in the area.
- Taking ownership for product quality in the day to day running of the area/department/shift.
- Ensuring all company procedures are followed by all employees and that good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times.
- Ensuring that all product handling and manufacturing is done in a hygienic environment in compliance with food legislation.
- Ensuring good communications are maintained within the department/area/shift and with all departments.
- Ensuring in the setting KPI’s, monitoring and take accountability to achieve the targets set.
- Liaising with HR to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to e.g. absence monitoring, recruitment, development, disciplinary/grievance, holiday entitlement/guidelines, agency ordering and control.
- Supporting NPD in ensuring products come to fruition.
- Helping facilitate a CI environment.
- Covering leave of colleagues and manage holiday/absence from all teams.
- Ensuring all paperwork completed in all areas/departments and is accurate, reliable, comprehensive and legible.
All of the roles involve working in a fast past, chilled environment in a company that puts people at the core. The site operates 24/7 and you will be required to work on a shift basis including the requirement to work weekends.
What you’ll get in return
- Good level of English & Math - you will be required to follow processes and recipes, as well as ensuring the correct quantities are used in each batch.
- Ideally experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment, but this isn't mandatory - other FMCG backgrounds will be considered.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Right first-time approach.
