Booking-In Clerk Day Shift

Job Introduction

We require a clerk to assist the Goods-In team, to process all delivery paper work , to book suppliers deliveries in on a daily basis, to manage any audit trails that need to be done for Technical, to do all POD queries and to assist with stock taking on Fridays. Assist when needed on work stations in low risk.

Role Responsibility

  • To process all delivery paperwork that you receive on your shift.
  • To liaise with management, as required on all key issues concerning Goods in
  • Booking in deliveries and invoice queries
  • To Contact outstanding suppliers booking in times.
  • To liaise as necessary with other departments to ensure running of Goods in
  • Integral part of stock taking.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English
  • Experience of operating as a lead operative within an FMCG environment
  • Basic Food Hygiene Accreditation, Allergen Awareness, Health and Safety (provided by Greencore)
  • Good problem solving skills
